The service
Tierdiff checks the public web pages you give us (normally competitor pricing pages) about once a day, stores what it extracts, and emails you when it finds a pricing-relevant change. We do our best, but we can't promise to catch every change, to catch it the same day, or to extract every page perfectly. Websites change their structure, block automated visitors, or show different prices in different countries.
Your responsibilities
- Only submit pages that are publicly accessible without logging in.
- Don't use Tierdiff to overload, attack or scrape a site beyond a normal daily check.
- Use the information in line with the law and the watched site's terms.

What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send your baseline report and alerts.
- The URLs you ask us to watch, plus your product name if you give it.
- Snapshots of those public pages: the pricing text we extract each day. This is the change history.
- Basic request data when you sign up: a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to block spam signups) and your browser's user-agent string.
- Payment details, if you subscribe. These are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store card numbers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data.
- We don't run ad trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we don't set tracking cookies.
- We don't tell the companies you watch that you're watching them. We fetch their public pages like any visitor.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with Cloudflare (hosting and database). Emails go out through a transactional email provider, and payments go through a payment provider/merchant of record. Both are named here once they're chosen. These providers process data only to deliver the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while you use Tierdiff. Ask us to delete it and we'll remove your email and watch list within 30 days. Snapshots of public pricing pages may be kept as anonymous market history that isn't linked to you.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, or ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted by replying to any Tierdiff email.

Payment, cancellation and refunds
Paid plans cost US$12 per month or US$99 per year and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime and you won't be charged again. In your first 7 days after paying, ask for a refund and you'll get the full amount back. After that, we don't refund partial periods.
Free baseline report
The baseline report is free and doesn't commit you to anything. If you don't subscribe, we stop checking your pages.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is. Don't make major decisions based only on an automated alert. Check the live page first. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email active subscribers before the change takes effect.

Page not found
TierdiffBot
TierdiffBot fetches public pricing pages about once per day on behalf of Tierdiff users, and re-fetches once to confirm a detected change. It does not log in, submit forms or follow links. To opt out or report a problem, reply to any Tierdiff email.
